A Teaser

From a distance, it looked like a gigantic willow tree bent over a pond, its long leafy branches dipping lazily into the water. Ellie Albright had felt sorry for the tree, lonely as it was in the middle of the woods, bent over as if weeping over a pond made up of its own tears. She tiptoed along the water's edge, trailed her fingers across the grass, then brushed aside the branches of the tree, expecting to find a twisted trunk.
      Instead, she found a door.

Blog Emerges from Darkness, Narrowly Avoiding Death

Hello readers old and new. :)

Welcome to my newly-reopened writing blog. The abandoned blog that narrowly avoided death by deletion and survived to tell its woeful tale.

I am rebuilding my blog from scratch with a new story. New characters, new plot sequences, new settings, new energy. I'm excited to share my work with you. Although junior fiction targets a younger audience, I hope that this story will resonate with all ages.

Please be patient with me as I slowly build my story, chapter by chapter.

I do welcome positive comments and constructive feedback, especially from my younger readers. This will help in the editing process of my story, after completion. Please do share your thoughts, but remember to do so respectfully.

So, pull up a comfy chair, sip on something delicious, and enjoy.

I hope you'll find belonging here.
